Kiwango Infrastructure and Developments (PTY) Ltd was established in 2013. Since its inception as primarily a professional quantity surveying practice; the company has evolved to being a diversified property and infrastructure consultancy firm. Adding to it’s services amongst others; turnkey developments, transaction advisory, development management, etc.

The company’s business approach is embodied in its name “Kiwango”; a Swahili term meaning levels (dimension hierarchy) signifying our structured and methodical approach in servicing our clients. The name articulates the company’s ability to deliver products and services according to a defined systems and processes.

Simon Linakane

Managing Director



Simon is a qualified Quantity Surveyor with 11 years work experience in the industry. He acquired his Quantity Surveying Bachelor of Science Honors at the University of the Free State. Simon is a registered Quantity Surveyor under the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession and a Professional Member of the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors.

Simon has gained valuable experience working in flagship projects such as the Gautrain Rapid Rail Transport System, the first of its kind in Africa Simon offers clients an excellent personal service and he strives to deliver projects within budget. This service has ultimately created long term relationships with clients as well as other consultants. He has the ability to identify problem areas before they become unmanageable. He also has a knack for negotiating deals on favourable terms for both contracting parties.
